I’m Gabriel, and I grew up on a large commercial farm outside Great Falls, Montana, where our days revolved around dairy and beef cows, pigs, chickens, sheep, geese, and ducks. We also farmed the land and kept a large garden, so hard work and homegrown food were part of everyday life.  Those long days tending animals teaches you quickly that good nutrition is the foundation for healthy, productive livestock.  My wife grew up just down the road from the mill and went to school in the Freeman school district, so this community has been part of her life from the start.

Now we’re raising our own kids on a small farm filled with the animals that shape our days—cows, pigs, chickens, turkeys, and every so often a few geese or ducks when the season calls for it. Alongside the livestock, our dogs and barn cats aren’t just animals on the farm; they’re beloved family companions who follow us from chore to chore and remind us why we love this way of living.

We partner with the Meenach family, a multi‑generational local farming operation that provides a portion of the grain we use at the mill. We work hard to source the rest as locally as possible to support our neighbors and keep our feed rooted in this community.
